About the RoleThe People Team Assistant supports Global Finance business units by managing a variety of HR‑related tasks, including HRIS management, recruitment, reporting, and onboarding processes. The role requires a detail‑oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant who is organized, tech‑savvy, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Serve as trusted HR point of contact for more than 1,000 employees spanning the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions, providing guidance on HR policies and escalating issues confidentially.
- Conduct new hire orientation and train all U.S. new hires on Workday and other core company systems to ensure a seamless start.
- Maintain, analyze, and generate comprehensive reports on global headcount, open positions, and other key HR metrics to support workforce planning and budgeting.
- Provide critical support for performance planning, visa processes, leave of absence documentation, and assist with employee relations matters.
- Act as the day‑to‑day right‑hand to the Global Finance People Team (1 SVP, 2 VPs, and 2 Managers), utilizing strong organizational skills to keep workflows efficient.
- Remain an active presence on the floor, connecting with employees and jumping in on any other tasks that keep the team running smoothly.
- 1+ years of professional experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proactive approach to sharing updates.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and confidentially.
- Empathetic interpersonal skills and a professional approach to building rapport with a diverse employee population.
- Ownership mindset, confidence in presenting ideas, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Requirement to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
- Global HR experience.
- Workday experience – strong familiarity with the system.
- Experience managing large amounts of data.
- Strong project management skills to keep large initiatives on track.
- Fluency in Google Workspace.
Salary Range: $21.00 to $31.00 per hour. The actual base pay is dependent on many factors, such as work experience and business needs, and is subject to change at any time.
