Workforce Transition Coordinator
Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday – Standard Business Hours

A growing multi‑brand fashion company is seeking a highly organized and proactive Workforce Transition Coordinator to support employee onboarding, internal transfers, promotions, office moves, and workforce‑related operational initiatives.
This role serves as a key point of coordination between department leaders, Human Resources, Facilities, and IT Operations, ensuring employees have the resources, access, and support needed throughout their employment lifecycle. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys managing multiple moving parts, and is passionate about improving processes and employee experiences.
What You’ll Do Workforce Coordination- Coordinate employee onboarding, internal transfers, promotions, and office relocations
- Track workforce changes and transition activities across departments
- Ensure transitions are properly planned, communicated, and executed
- Monitor timelines and proactively follow up on outstanding tasks
- Partner closely with department leaders, Human Resources, Facilities, and IT Operations
- Ensure all stakeholders remain aligned throughout employee transitions
- Communicate timelines, requirements, updates, and expectations
- Escalate issues that may impact onboarding, transfers, or workforce readiness
- Coordinate workspace assignments, office moves, and equipment requests
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities
- Collaborate with access control and IT teams to ensure appropriate system access and permissions
- Assist with employee experience and operational efficiency initiatives
- Maintain and improve onboarding checklists, workflows, and transition procedures
- Create and update documentation, templates, and tracking systems
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend practical solutions
- Assist with training initiatives and adoption of new systems and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of workforce changes and transition activities
- Support planning for hiring initiatives and organizational growth
- Help ensure operational teams remain focused on core responsibilities by proactively managing workforce transition activities
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow‑through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Ability to work effectively with employees across all levels of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field
- Two or more years of experience in operations, administration, project coordination, customer service, or a related role
- Experience with employee onboarding, workforce coordination, or organizational operations
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, multi‑location environment
- Exposure to Human Resources, Facilities, or IT Operations
- Experience creating documentation, procedures, workflows, or process improvements
- Highly organized and dependable
- Strong communicator and relationship builder
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to change
- Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑through
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
