About Our Client

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a prestigious law firm, seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Recruiting Coordinator to support their growing recruitment team. This is a temporary role through the end of August, ideal for individuals with experience in legal recruiting, event planning, and administrative support.

Job Description

As a Legal Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting attorney hiring efforts, coordinating recruitment events, and assisting with the firm’s Summer Associate Program. This position requires a detail‑oriented and personable professional who can thrive in a fast‑paced environment and is comfortable working long hours during peak hiring seasons.

Key Responsibilities Summer Associate Program Support
  • Assist in planning and executing the firm’s Summer Associate Program, including scheduling events, coordinating logistics, and managing communications.
  • Prepare materials such as handbooks, binders, and welcome gifts.
  • Support summer associates with assignments, evaluations, and professional development activities.
  • Attend networking and social events to ensure a seamless experience for participants.
Recruiting & Interview Coordination
  • Schedule interviews for lateral associates, judicial clerks, and law students.
  • Collect and track candidate feedback to support hiring decisions.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations for candidates as needed.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date records in applicant tracking systems and generate reports as needed.
Event Coordination & Relationship Management
  • Act as a firm representative and maintain relationships with candidates, law schools, vendors, and attorneys.
  • Help plan and coordinate recruiting receptions, networking events, and law school outreach initiatives.
  • Manage recruitment materials, promotional items, and department files.
Administrative & Budget Support
  • Track attorney mentoring budgets and assist with mentor pairings.
  • Help organize mentoring activities and professional development events.
  • Process expense reports, invoices, and budget tracking related to recruiting efforts.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in legal recruiting, HR, event coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—outgoing and professional demeanor required.
  • Excellent multitasking and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Comfortable working long hours, including overtime, during peak hiring seasons.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (vi Recruit preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom).
Additional Details
  • Location:

    Onsite, 5 days per week; must be available for overtime and after‑hours events.
  • Hours:

    Standard hours are 9 AM – 5 PM; additional hours required during peak periods.
  • Hours per Week: 35–40+ hours, depending on workload and events.
