A very well-known luxury fashion brand is looking for a temporary Human Resources Manager to cover a maternity leave with the following:
Role: Human Resources Manager / HR Business Partner (Contract – Maternity Leave Coverage)
Duration: Immediate start through the end of January
Schedule: Currently 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. Starting in September, the schedule will change to 4 days in-office and Fridays remote.
Hours: 9am-5:30pm
Pay: $38-$40/hour
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary HR Manager for both the corporate office and retail population.
- Provide guidance and support on a wide range of employee relations matters, ensuring consistency with company policies and employment best practices.
- Coach and advise managers on performance management, employee engagement, conflict resolution, and other HR-related issues.
- Support full-cycle recruiting for corporate and retail positions as needed, partnering with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and other employee lifecycle activities.
- Partner with leadership to support organizational initiatives and day-to-day HR operations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws as well as company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a positive employee experience.
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager capacity.
- Experience supporting both corporate and retail employee populations.
- Employee relations experience is required.
- Recruiting experience, including partnering with hiring managers and managing the interview process.
- Retail experience is strongly preferred.
- Fashion, luxury, or consumer brand experience is highly preferred, though candidates from other industries with strong retail HR experience will also be considered.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities.
