Location: New York

Our client, a well-established consulting firm in New York City, is seeking an accomplished Human Resources Manager to provide both strategic and hands‑on HR leadership within a collaborative HR team. This pivotal role will be responsible for updating the employee handbook, supporting the automation of HR processes, and ensuring smooth onboarding and exit procedures.

The Human Resources Manager will coordinate robust training and organizational development efforts, oversee employee relations programs, and manage end‑to‑end payroll processing across multiple states. Additional duties include leading comprehensive benefits administration and maintaining precise employee records related to compensation, schedules, promotions, and leave. The ideal candidate brings extensive corporate HR Generalist experience, a strong background in payroll and benefits, and expert‑level proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.

This position follows a hybrid schedule.

The annual base salary range is $130,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

Job Responsibilities
  • Update the employee handbook
  • Assist with the automation of internal systems
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and exit interview procedures
  • Coordinate or administer various aspects of the organization’s, training, organizational development, and employee relations programs
  • Oversee payroll processing across different states
  • Responsible for leading the benefits administration
  • Maintain accurate records for individual employees regarding pay rates, shift details, promotions, transfers, sick leave, etc.
Job Requirements
  • 7+ years of well‑rounded HR Generalist experience, both strategic and tactical, in a corporate setting
  • BA required
  • ADP Workforce Now is Required
  • Must have experience in payroll and benefits
