Our client, an Am Law firm with a nationally recognized Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits practice, is seeking an associate with 2 to 6 years of experience to join its team in Boston, Chicago, New York, or San Francisco. This is an exceptional opportunity to advise public companies, private equity sponsors, investors, and executives on sophisticated executive compensation and employee benefits matters arising from complex corporate transactions.

• Executive compensation aspects of mergers and acquisitions
• Private equity transactions
• Initial public offerings and capital markets transactions
• Executive employment and severance agreements
• Equity incentive and executive compensation plans
• Employee benefits and ERISA compliance

• 2 to 6 years of executive compensation and employee benefits experience
• Experience supporting M&A and other corporate transactions
• Strong knowledge of executive compensation, ERISA, tax, and related regulatory matters
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Admission to the applicable state bar or eligibility for prompt admission
• Experience with private equity transactions is highly desirable.

Base salary ranges from $235,000 to $390,000, depending on class year and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
