Coordinator, Human Resources

PMC is growing its Human Resources team with the addition of a Coordinator based in our New York office. In this role, you will partner closely with the HR team to support day-to-day HR operations for PMC and its cadre of iconic brands, helping to foster a collaborative, people-first culture across the organization. The HR Coordinator is a hands‑on role that will provide administrative and operational support to the HR team across a variety of functions, including onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, human capital management and cultural initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, including orientations, employment documentation, and system setup.
  • Execute offboarding processes including exit interviews and other internal processes.
Employee Relations
  • Serve as a responsive and approachable first point of contact for employee questions, routing inquiries to the appropriate HR team member as needed.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures and programs.
  • Build relationships of trust with employees and managers, fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
  • Proactively support employees, and the business, with day‑to‑day HR needs.
  • Help employees navigate benefits questions, connect them with appropriate resources and assist with open enrollment.
  • Assist with the annual performance review cycle, learning programs, and retention initiatives.
HR Operations
  • Help maintain and update accurate records in HR systems, org charts, and distribution lists.
  • Run HR reports and assist with data management across the department.
  • Help enhance internal workflows and the overall employee experience by contributing to process improvements and operational initiatives.
  • Leverage analytics and AI to identify workforce trends and create tools for seamless HR delivery.
  • Support compliance efforts by helping to identify areas of potential risk and deploying required training.
Cultural Initiatives
  • Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives including employee recognition programs, company events, town halls, and volunteer activities that reinforce PMC’s culture of collaboration and communication.
  • Support roll‑out of AI initiatives across the department and larger organization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in a Human Resources or related administrative role
  • General knowledge of HR operations and best practices, including familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Experience handling confidential matters with the utmost tact, discretion and integrity
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a high level of professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with UKG or HR software platforms
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Positive, service‑oriented attitude with a collaborative, team‑first mindset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, or a related field or commensurate experience.
  • Experience with UKG is a plus
  • Prior experience in media, entertainment, or similarly dynamic industry.
