HR Operations & Benefits Specialist

We are seeking an HR Operations & Benefits Specialist to support various global HR operations, business transformation initiatives, and data-driven decision making for New Fortress Energy Inc. The role will be based in the company’s New York headquarters.

What you will do:
  • Serves as a key partner to HR leadership and business stakeholders by managing workforce data, compensation administration, HR systems, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Key point of contact for any data management and reporting requests for both business leaders and the head of HR.
  • Assist with the integration of HR Functions including HR Systems, Service Delivery, Payroll, and Talent Strategies.
  • Perform audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required.
  • Identify areas for improvement with processes and systems.
  • Work with team members to automate and streamline processes for future ERP to make reporting process more efficient.
  • Ensure that Talent / People / HR Strategies are aligned with overall corporate strategic objectives.
  • Optimize HRIS processes, integrate new software, and perform diagnostic tests.
  • Ensure the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics.
  • Assist with benefits open enrollment and general benefits administration.
  • Lead HRIS implementations and enhance onboarding experiences.
  • Deliver accurate headcount and compensation reporting.
What you bring:
  • Minimum of 2-4+ years of experience in an HR Operations role, including change management initiatives, communications development, organizational design and development, HR strategy or operations, and /or talent solutions.
  • Able to build strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience in analyzing HRIS and HR performance metrics with keen attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in database management and security.
  • Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in HRIS Analysis.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
