Senior OD Specialist

Position Overview The Senior OD Specialist will be responsible for designing, conducting, and writing comprehensive job analyses, job descriptions, workload analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) forms and measurements. Additionally, the role will involve designing and overseeing the performance management systems that help drive employee engagement, growth, and company performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of organizational design, performance measurement, and human resources best practices, especially in fast-paced, scaling environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Job Analysis & Descriptions:
    Conduct detailed job analysis for all roles across the company to ensure clarity on role responsibilities, requirements, and competencies. Develop and update job descriptions that accurately reflect current and future needs of the business. Collaborate with department heads to identify role-specific competencies and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Workload Analysis & Capacity Planning:
    Conduct workload analysis to assess employee capacity, performance bottlenecks, and inefficiencies. Provide insights into the design of roles and teams to optimize productivity and resource allocation. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure effective balancing of workload across departments.
  • KPI Design & Measurement:
    Work closely with leadership teams to define and implement relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all levels of the organization. Develop systems for tracking and measuring employee performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Regularly review and refine KPIs to ensure continuous improvement and adaptability to company needs.
  • Performance Management Systems:
    Design and implement comprehensive performance management systems that include regular performance reviews, feedback mechanisms, and developmental plans. Lead initiatives to foster a performance-driven culture, ensuring clear expectations and growth opportunities for all employees. Ensure that performance management tools and processes are user-friendly, scalable, and aligned with the company's goals and values.
  • Training & Development Support:
    Provide insights into training and development needs based on job analyses and performance evaluations. Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to ensure the performance management system informs targeted training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Strategic Consultation & Change Management:
    Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, advising on organizational structure, workforce planning, and change management efforts. Lead or participate in organizational development projects aimed at improving efficiency, employee engagement, and overall company performance.
  • Data-Driven Insights & Reporting:
    Utilize data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of performance management and other OD initiatives. Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on key performance insights, trends, and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in organizational development, human resources, or a related field, with a focus on job analysis, performance management, and KPI systems.
  • Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is highly preferred, particularly within scaling or fast-growing organizations.
  • Proven expertise in designing job analysis frameworks, performance management systems, and workload analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in organizational development, performance measurement, and employee engagement.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly analytical with experience using data and metrics to drive decisions and improvements.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and performance management software.
