People and Talent Operations Lead

Gloss Genius is seeking a People Operations Program Manager to help build and scale critical programs across the People and Talent function, including compensation frameworks, onboarding, data and reporting, recognition programs, and more. This role is responsible for designing and implementing new processes, driving strategic projects, and ensuring operational excellence as the company grows. The scope spans compensation, HR systems, data and reporting, AI enablement, and employee experience.

• Build the data and reporting layer for the People and Talent function, defining key metrics, creating dashboards, and translating workforce data into clear narratives for leadership
• Design AI-powered workflows across the People and Talent organization, identifying automation opportunities to increase team efficiency
• Drive strategic projects across recognition, People and Talent systems, and other initiatives that require structured planning and execution
• Architect the employee recognition strategy, ensuring strong performance and contributions are celebrated effectively
• Define internal operations for the People and Talent team, including process documentation, systems hygiene, and cross-functional handoffs
• Serve as a resource for employees navigating complex People Operations questions across benefits, immigration, payroll, leave, and more
• Manage the design and ongoing iteration of compensation infrastructure, including band modeling, benchmarking cycles, pay equity analyses, and documentation

• Have 5+ years of progressive HR and People Operations experience, with breadth across at least two or three of the following: compensation, HRIS and systems, people analytics, onboarding, or employee experience
• Have proven experience building workflows using AI in a People or HR context, automating repeatable work and redirecting capacity to higher-value problems
• Move quickly without waiting for perfect information, iterating based on feedback
• Have strong HR generalist foundations, able to identify issues, ask the right questions, and distinguish real problems from noise
• Are analytically sharp, with expert-level Excel or Google Sheets skills and deep fluency with HRIS and BI tools
• Exercise high judgment about what to elevate and what to solve independently
• Communicate clearly in writing, producing concise and effective documentation

The base salary for this role is between $140,000 to $170,000 plus equity and benefits. The compensation package offered depends on skills, experience, and other factors.
