We offer a talented HR Analyst can play a critical role in enabling data-driven human resources decisions throughout the organization. This role combines advanced analytics, compensation support, HR systems expertise, and process optimization to deliver actionable insights that improve employee experience, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities People Analytics & Reporting- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reporting (e.g., turnover, headcount, engagement)
- Analyze employee lifecycle data including turnover trends, exit interviews, and engagement feedback
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and executive-ready reporting
- Monitor key workforce metrics and proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Conduct audits of HR data across multiple regions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency
- Conduct compensation analysis including benchmarking, job leveling, and salary band development
- Support annual processes such as merit planning, bonus analysis, and pay equity/equity risk assessments
- Partner with HR leadership to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices
- Assist in benefits and wellness program analysis and optimization initiatives
- Support implementation of AI tools and automation within HR processes
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows through technology and analytics
- Partner with HR and IT to enhance reporting capabilities and digital transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with Total Rewards, Payroll, HR Business Partners, and Finance
- Support HR initiatives, projects, and leadership requests with timely data and insights
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and systems
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Perform other duties and special assignments as needed
Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Advanced Excel (required) with proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred)
- Experience building dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar preferred)
- Familiarity with compensation analysis and benchmarking tools
- Experience with people analytics, workforce planning, or HR reporting
- Exposure to AI tools or HR technology implementations
- Knowledge of compensation structures and total rewards programs
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and partnerships and meet the needs of internal customers
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving and task execution
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality
- Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and applicable regulations
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize activities
- Positive, enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Three (3)– six (6) years of experience in HR analytics, compensation, HRIS, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field
The location for this position is 100% on-site in Buffalo, NY or NYC. Travel estimate: 0% to 10%; domestic.
Salary range for this posted position is $80,000 - $100,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in New York. Actual compensation will fall within this range and is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
