Job Title: People & Culture Coordinator

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Pay Range: $29/hr on W2

Our client, a prominent organization in the human resources sector, is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to join their team. As a People & Culture Coordinator, you will be part of the Human Resources department supporting recruitment, employee records management, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's

the Job?
  • Process, verify, and maintain documentation related to staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications.
  • Review employment applications to evaluate qualifications and eligibility of applicants.
  • Record data for each employee, including addresses, weekly earnings, and supervisory reports on performance.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other employee-related information.
  • Request information from law enforcement officials, previous employers, and references to determine applicant employment acceptability.
What's Needed?
  • Verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in documenting and recording customer/client information accurately.
  • Previous experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
