Summary
Works to successfully identify and qualify healthcare providers for VISTA’s clients by utilizing a consultative sales approach; assist with placement of healthcare providers in short-term, long-term, and permanent practice opportunities in the United States and abroad.
Responsibilities- Source, recruit, qualify, screen, and assist in placing healthcare providers with VISTA clients using a variety of methods, including responding to inquiries generated from marketing programs, utilizing internal and purchased databases, independent internet research, cold calling, emailing, and other lead generation and conversion activities.
- Qualify candidates while simultaneously selling the concept of locum tenens work, differentiate VISTA as the partner of choice, and use consultative selling techniques to match a provider’s needs with available positions.
- Educate providers on VISTA features and offerings that enhance their ability to achieve personal and professional goals.
- Establish long‑term relationships with providers to enable repeat business and referrals.
- Complete initial quality screening and guide providers through the presentation process.
- Negotiate assignment contract terms, including provider compensation, client billing rates, variable expenses, and profitability impact.
- Set appropriate expectations with providers.
- Collaborate with team members to identify day‑to‑day business priorities and target personal recruiting efforts.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to create new business and support existing business.
- Participate fully in a dynamic performance‑driven environment focused on company and team profit margins, personal and team revenue goals, and recruiter role in meeting and exceeding goals.
- Occasionally participate in after‑hours call rotation and assist with special projects as directed.
- Perform additional duties as requested by management.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven ability in an inside sales or recruiting role, preferably 2 years.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn proprietary software.
- Willingness to cover interim staffing gaps and expand knowledge of the locum tenens business.
- Willingness to take classes and participate in learning opportunities.
- Ability to cross‑train and back up any team member when necessary.
- Ability to understand and meet performance metrics as outlined.
- Ability to maintain a work schedule that allows successful contact with healthcare professionals via telephone.
- Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and systematic task execution.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability to workplace changes and accurate, thorough work performance.
- Effective communication via telephone, email, video conference, and face‑to‑face contact.
- Use of manual dexterity, visual acuity, and hearing acuity to operate office equipment such as computer, copier, scanner, camera, phone, headset, keyboard, and mouse.
- Long periods of sitting at a keyboard and workstation with occasional reaching and standing.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Compensation and Benefits- Salary: $41,000 – $49,000 per year.
- Benefits: health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, company‑paid life insurance, 401(k) with discretionary match, paid time off, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
