Human Resources Manager (Bilingual English/Spanish)
Luxury Hotel | Full-Time | Montauk, NY

We are seeking a talented and service-driven Human Resources Manager to support the success of our employees and leadership team at a prestigious luxury hotel. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and enjoys building strong employee relationships while ensuring operational excellence.
The Human Resources Manager will oversee employee onboarding, HRIS administration, benefits management, employee records, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, highly organized, solutions-oriented, and passionate about creating an exceptional employee experience.
Key Responsibilities Employee Onboarding & Recruitment Support
+ Lead and coordinate the onboarding process for all new hires.
+ Prepare employment documentation, offer letters, and new hire paperwork.
+ Conduct new employee orientations and ensure completion of all required compliance and training documents.
+ Maintain I-9 compliance and verify employment eligibility documentation.
+ Partner with department leaders to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
+ Assist with recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate tracking, and interview coordination.
HRIS & Employee Data Management
+ Administer and maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
+ Ensure employee records, job changes, compensation updates, and status changes are accurately maintained.
+ Generate workforce reports and HR metrics for management.
+ Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and system integrity.
Benefits Administration
+ Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, disability, COBRA, and related offerings.
+ Coordinate annual open enrollment activities and employee benefit education.
+ Serve as the primary resource for employee benefits questions and support.
+ Process enrollments, changes, and terminations in a timely manner.
+ Manage COBRA administration and employee notifications.
+ Coordinate unemployment claims and partner with third-party administrators when necessary.
+ Liaise with benefit providers and brokers to resolve employee issues and improve the employee experience.
Employee Records & HR Administration
+ Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files.
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local recordkeeping regulations.
+ Manage digital and physical employee documentation systems.
+ Prepare employment verification requests and other HR-related correspondence.
HR Compliance & Employee Relations
+ Ensure compliance with labor laws, wage and hour regulations, and company policies.
+ Support employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation.
+ Assist with performance management initiatives and disciplinary processes.
+ Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters.
+ Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
General HR & Operational Support
+ Provide HR support to hotel leadership and department managers.
+ Coordinate employee engagement, communication, and recognition programs.
+ Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and special projects.
+ Support overall administrative and operational needs of the property.
Qualifications Required
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
+ 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
+
Experience with benefits administration, employee onboarding, HR compliance, and employee relations.
+ Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and employee data management.
+ Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
+ Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Preferred
+ Hospitality, hotel, resort, or luxury service industry experience.
+ HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
