People Business Partner (U.S.)The People Business Partner (U.S.) is a strategic advisor and trusted partner to employees across our U.S. organization, including HQ functions and Sales. As a trusted advisor, the People Business Partner provides guidance across the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and change management, while championing Vita Coco’s values and ensuring a consistent and impactful employee experience.
This role will serve as the primary People partner for U.S. employees across Sales and HQ teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business Partnership
- Partner with U.S. HQ and Sales teams to align people strategies with business goals
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance management, team effectiveness, and organizational design
- Translate global People programs into relevant and effective practices
- Serve as first point of contact for employee relations matters, conducting investigations and recommending solutions
- Advise managers on employee issues including performance, conduct, and policy interpretation
- Drive engagement initiatives and support culture-building efforts
- Lead performance management processes in partnership with the global People team
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and internal mobility
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies and workforce needs
- Support leaders through change, growth, and transformation initiatives
- Assess organizational health and recommend improvements
- Partner with People Operations on policy rollout, compliance initiatives, and consistent application of practices
- Ensure U.S. practices align with employment laws and company policies
- 5-8 years of progressive HR or People Business Partner experience
- Experience supporting both corporate (HQ) and field or Sales populations
- Strong employee relations and coaching background
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders
- Experience working in a global or matrixed environment
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law
This is a reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
US Pay Range: $120,000 USD – $130,000 USD
