Position SummaryThe Benefits Relations Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional support to employees by assisting with benefits, payroll, and HR-related inquiries while ensuring accurate processing and compliance. This role serves as a key point of contact for caregivers and employees, handling a high volume of calls, maintaining confidential records, supporting HR operations, and promoting a positive employee experience through responsive service and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls related to HR, benefits, and payroll.
- Process employee updates within HR and payroll systems, including:
- Address and demographic changes.
- Direct deposit enrollment and updates.
- Tax information, pay rate changes, and benefits adjustments.
- Administer Wage Parity Flex benefits and respond to related inquiries.
- Enroll and disenroll employees in benefit plans and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate and administer the caregiver corrective action and disciplinary process in partnership with HR leadership.
- Prepare, maintain, and monitor disciplinary documentation, corrective action plans, and required follow-up activities.
- Support caregiver retention, engagement, and quality assurance initiatives through follow-up outreach, issue resolution, and recognition programs.
- Prepare, review, and analyze payroll, HR, and benefits reports.
- Generate and review data reports to identify trends and ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance in all employee records and HR documentation.
- Provide interpretation and translation support as needed.
- Assist team members with coverage during absences and support additional HR initiatives as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required; HR, payroll, or employee benefits experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Russian or Mandarin/Cantonese required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues professionally.
- Experience working with HRIS, payroll, or benefits administration systems, or the ability to learn new software quickly.
- High level of professionalism with a strong commitment to confidentiality and compliance.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
