Valence Care is seeking an exceptional HR Coordinator with a background in Home Care to join our team. This individual should be a self‑starter, motivated, efficient, with great attention to detail, and a quick study who can thrive in a fast‑paced environment. You must be willing to work out of the Brooklyn office location.

Job Position Summary

The HR Coordinator provides operational and employee support across key human resources functions. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and helps ensure a positive employee experience through efficient and responsive HR support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and requests.
  • Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and HR‑related processes.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and programs that promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Work with the HR Generalist to have a process in place to ensure employee files are accurate for survey checks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within HR operations.
  • Support with any ad hoc projects that come up with the team.

Qualifications
  • Experience using HRIS platforms (UKG or Dayforce preferred)
  • Experience using a EMR platform (Mckesson preferred)
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
