LEGAL RECRUITING ASSISTANT

The firm is seeking a full time Legal Recruiting Assistant to join our Legal Recruiting Department. This position reports to the Chief Legal Recruiting Officer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Schedule interviews with lawyers for candidates.
  • Organize and execute logistics for candidate and offeree events.
  • Assist with implementation of law school 1L events and sponsor ships of student organizations.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data through timely entry and ongoing management of recruiting databases and applicant tracking systems.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the firm's summer associate program, including events, programming, orientation, and day-to-day operations.
  • Assist with the collection, tracking, and distribution of summer associate evaluations.
  • Assist with multiple aspects of the lateral associate hiring process.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, professional staff, law schools, candidates, and external vendors to ensure recruiting activities are executed efficiently and professionally.
  • Support additional recruiting initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously, including under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook; experience using applicant tracking systems or recruiting databases is preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and a customer service-oriented approach, with the ability to work collaboratively and interact effectively with attorneys, candidates, and staff at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of administrative, human resources or recruiting experience in a large law firm or professional services organization.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., vi Recruit, Flo Recruit).
  • Experience organizing interview schedules and coordinating events.
  • Law firm experience.
