Our client is seeking an experienced Director, Human Resources to serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. This individual will help shape the organization's people strategy by aligning talent initiatives with business objectives, strengthening leadership capability, and supporting organizational growth.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable influencing senior leaders, leading organizational change, and solving complex people challenges in a fast-paced professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Partnership- Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute workforce strategies that support business priorities.
- Advise leaders on organizational structure, succession planning, talent development, and workforce optimization.
- Provide guidance on organizational effectiveness during periods of growth, integration, or transformation.
- Coach managers and executives on leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Facilitate leadership development initiatives that build accountability and strengthen management capabilities.
- Support executive teams with succession planning and high-potential talent identification.
- Lead initiatives focused on organizational design, change management, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with leadership to identify organizational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
- Drive initiatives that improve collaboration, communication, and overall employee experience.
- Partner with recruiting leadership to develop workforce planning strategies.
- Support executive and leadership hiring initiatives.
- Develop retention strategies for key contributors and emerging leaders.
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies while balancing legal compliance with business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders navigating sensitive personnel decisions.
- Partner with leadership during performance review and talent calibration processes.
- Support compensation planning, organizational benchmarking, and merit review cycles.
- Utilize workforce analytics to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions.
- Analyze workforce metrics including retention, turnover, engagement, productivity, and hiring trends.
- Present meaningful insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Champion process improvements that enhance both operational effectiveness and the employee experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8-12+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant HR Business Partner leadership. Strong preference for professional services industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, organizational development, and change management.
- Experience supporting organizational growth, restructuring, or acquisitions is highly desirable.
- Outstanding communication, coaching, and executive relationship management skills.
- Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.
- Experience with HRIS platforms and workforce analytics.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or comparable certification preferred.
