Job Summary
This role provides strategic business partnership to senior leadership (L3 and L4 VPs) to drive business results and enhance employee engagement. The Sr. Manager will implement initiatives aligned with business goals to optimize performance, strengthen manager effectiveness, and improve employee experiences. The Sr. Manager reports to the Sr. Director, People Business Partner.
Essential Responsibilities- Implement key people processes, including talent and performance management.
- Coach and develop leaders, offering insights on people, teams, and organizational growth.
- Use data insights to identify trends and influence evidence-based decisions for talent attraction, performance, and engagement.
- Support change management initiatives for successful adoption of organizational changes.
- Analyze organization effectiveness using data and feedback to assess people and organizational capability, providing consultation on how the organizational structure aligns with strategy and objectives.
- Partner with leadership to create solutions for HR challenges.
- Collaborate with Employee Relations to address escalations and recurring people issues.
- 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a strategic HR role interfacing and influencing leadership.
- Experience leading senior leaders through various talent management processes, including performance management, talent assessments, succession planning, and organization design.
- Effective communication and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated experience learning and thriving in a constantly changing environment and cultivating relationships across teams.
- Experience with subsidiary or subsidiary-level HR functions.
- Experience and knowledge of HR data analytics.
Base pay will depend on location and relevant experience. Expected range for New York City, NY: $143,500 – $212,850 annually. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation as applicable.
