Position Summary

As the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to business leaders across the North America. The HRBP will partner with teams to align people strategies with business objectives to drive organizational performance, talent development, employee engagement, and operational excellence. This role partners closely with Executive Leadership, Reinsurance Brokerage teams, Capital Strategies, the HR team, Talent Acquisition and Corporate Functions to provide proactive HR guidance in workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and change management initiatives.

The HRBP balances strategic partnership with hands‑on execution while helping foster a high‑performance, collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Partnership Partner with business leaders to understand organizational goals and develop human capital strategies that support growth and profitability.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, succession planning, talent risks, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance on organizational structure, team design, and resource planning.
  • Partner with leaders to identify talent needs and workforce capabilities.
  • Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify high‑potential employees and succession candidates.
  • Support leadership development, coaching, and professional growth initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce trends and make recommendations to enhance employee retention and development.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and provide recommendations on corrective actions when appropriate.
  • Support annual compensation review processes, including salary benchmarking, incentive plans, and promotion recommendations.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure pay decisions align with compensation philosophy and market competitiveness.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and action planning efforts.
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen company culture and reinforce organizational values.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation.
  • Partner with legal and compliance teams on employment‑related matters.
