Location: New York

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven HR intern to assist our HR Department

with administrative and HR-related tasks. As an HR Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience in various HR functions with a focus to support our luxury retail organization. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their HR skills and gain practical exposure in a professional setting, as they embark on a career in HR.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing employee engagement activities and events, including creating related communications.
  • Support the full-cycle recruitment process: sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and preparing/sending offer and rejection emails.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing materials and supporting orientation sessions.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR and Retail teams.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and update organizational charts as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager
Profile
  • 1+ years of prior Human Resources classes or Internship experience
  • BA or BS from an accredited university in progress
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with design software such as Canva or Photoshop
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with senior leadership.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Additional Information:
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard working hours (Onsite)
  • Availability: Full-time. Preferred for recent graduates or candidates available for full-time hours.
