Judge Direct Placement is working with a well-established manufacturing organization in seeking a Bilingual HR Assistant (English/Spanish) to provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department.

Fluency in both English and Spanish is a required qualification for this role. The HR Assistant serves as a key point of contact for a diverse workforce and must be comfortable communicating professionally with employees, applicants, managers, union representatives, and external partners in both languages. The ability to translate information accurately, support employee communications, and help create an inclusive workplace is essential to success in this position.

This role supports the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, recordkeeping, employee engagement, and workforce support within a union environment.

Qualifications
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting a bilingual workforce.
  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).
  • Experience translating employee communications, policies, or HR-related materials.
