Role: Benefits Administrator
- Contract

As our Benefits Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing and administering our organization's employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks. You’ll work with the Benefits team on handling enrollments, answering employee inquiries, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, all while maintaining accurate employee benefit records and providing excellent customer service to employees regarding their benefit options.

You will report into the Director of Benefits and work with our incredible HR team to streamline our offerings and work on cross collaborative projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of employee benefit plans, including health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans (401k), flexible spending accounts (FSAs), health spending accounts (HSAs) and other employee benefits.
  • Conduct new employee benefits orientation, assist with benefit selection during open enrollment periods, and process benefit changes due to life events.
  • Assist in resolving claim issues with insurance providers, and address employee concerns regarding claims.
  • Ensure adherence to all federal and state regulations regarding employee benefits, including Affordable Care Act (ACA), ERISA, and COBRA.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers and other benefit vendors and help monitor service quality.
  • Clearly communicate benefit information to employees through written materials, presentations, and employee meetings.
  • Maintain accurate employee benefit records, including eligibility status, coverage details, and beneficiary information.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, provide guidance on plan options, and resolve benefit-related issues.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with Benefits is preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office – specifically Excel, Teams, Outlook and Word
  • Solid understanding of employee benefits laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and vendors
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage complex benefit plans
  • Proficiency with benefit administration platforms
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed recommendations
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Estimated Salary:
$65,000 - $75,000 annually, with flexibility based on experience and skills.
