Compensation Specialist
Reporting to Senior Compensation Manager. Hybrid schedule in East Aurora, NY.
Responsibilities- Assist in the development and execution of annual compensation cycles, including pay review materials and training programs.
- Support the administration of salary increase processes, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with compensation guidelines.
- Conduct annual compensation planning and benchmarking surveys, analyzing market trends to maintain competitive pay structures.
- Oversee job matching methodology and provide guidance on market reference jobs.
- Regularly review and maintain salary structures to ensure consistency and market competitiveness.
- Conduct job catalog audits and implement refinements where necessary.
- Perform compensation audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support reporting efforts, including general and ad hoc compensation analyses.
- Provide guidance to HR partners with compensation guidelines and best practices.
- Assist in developing training materials and educational resources to enhance compensation understanding across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Over three (3) years of experience in compensation analysis, benchmarking, and program administration.
- Strong understanding of job evaluation, salary benchmarking methodologies, and compliance practices.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, compensation survey tools, and data reporting platforms.
- Ability to collaborate and provide advisory support to HR professionals.
- Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite.

Salary Range: $70,000–$90,000 annually (Buffalo, NY).
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region‑specific benefits.
