Senior Technical Recruiter

Acacia Consulting is a NYC-based technical recruiting firm that specializes in hiring talent for early-stage & high-growth startups. We are a team of 6 recruiters with both agency and in-house recruiting experience and work in person Tuesday through Thursday in Tribeca. Our business is growing and we are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join us!

We're looking for these qualities:

• 3+ years of technical recruiting experience within in Software Engineering, AI/ML and Product Management for early-stage and high-growth companies. We have a strong preference for applicants who have both agency and in-house experience.
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage interview schedules
• Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates through multiple channels (e.g. messaging, events, social media, networking, VC partnerships, referrals)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, founders and internal recruiting teams.
• Experience using Linked In Recruiter, Loxo, Notion, other sourcing tools, and deep expertise in one or more applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse/Ashby)
• Strong understanding of talent and market trends
• Ability to use a data-driven approach when speaking with clients around sourcing and market trends
• Previous recruiting and/or sourcing experience for a wide range of seniority from Founding Engineer roles to Director of Engineers and for companies at different funding stages (Seed through Series C)
• Excellent communication, time management and negotiation skills
