What you’ll do

As our HR Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our people operations.

Your role blends HR Management
, Payroll Coordination
, and General Administration — perfect for someone eager to grow into a broad HR role.

You will:

  • Coordinate and validate weekly payroll (timecards, absences, bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, data uploads via ADP).
  • Be the first point of contact for all payroll‑related questions.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, job descriptions, employee files, and our ADP HR system.
  • Manage hiring & offboarding processes: job postings, interviews, documentation, I‑9 compliance, smooth onboarding.
  • Handle monthly HR reporting at US and Group level.
  • Support training management, skill matrices, pay rate change forms, performance evaluations & disciplinary procedures.
  • Submit OSHA logs, follow up on worker’s comp cases, help prepare fire drills.
  • Ensure all HR activities comply with local, state and federal laws.
  • Stay updated on labor law changes.
  • Manage insurance policies (health, car, liability, workers’ comp).
  • Coordinate company vehicles and keep all documentation up to date.
  • Support department managers with administrative tasks and compliance questions.
  • Act as main contact for auditors (HR, compliance, ethics, SMETA).
  • Purchase office supplies and keep office operations running smoothly.
  • Help organize team events: lunches, outings, celebrations, holiday events...
  • Partner with union representatives and follow up union administration matters.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ideally 3+ years in HR or office administration
  • Strong communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus!)
  • Confident with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Analytical, organized, accurate, and proactive
  • Able to manage multiple tasks at once and keep a cool head
  • A natural problem‑solver who enjoys improving processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills — you connect easily with others
  • Respect for confidentiality and professionalism
