Recruitment Specialist
The Recruitment Specialist supports the organization's talent acquisition and human resources initiatives by attracting, hiring, and onboarding qualified talent to meet current and future staffing needs. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, coordinating hiring activities, and partnering with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and staffing objectives. In addition to recruitment responsibilities, the Recruitment Specialist prepares and extends employment offers, coordinates pre-employment requirements, and ensures a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
The role supports onboarding efforts by collecting new hire documentation, entering employee information into HR systems, maintaining accurate personnel records, and assisting with new hire orientation activities. The Recruitment Specialist also provides ongoing administrative support to Human Resources, including maintaining employee files, assisting with HR reporting, responding to employee inquiries, supporting compliance initiatives, and helping to ensure HR processes are carried out efficiently and accurately.
Through exceptional customer service and attention to detail, this position plays a key role in enhancing the employee experience while supporting organizational growth and long-term success.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews.
- Coordinate hiring activities and partner with hiring managers to understand staffing objectives.
- Prepare and extend employment offers, and coordinate pre-employment requirements.
- Support onboarding efforts by collecting new hire documentation and entering employee information into HR systems.

- Provide ongoing administrative support to Human Resources.

- Respond to employee inquiries and ensure HR processes are carried out efficiently.
- Recruiting and full cycle recruiting experience.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in recruitment within warehouse, distribution, production, or engineering sectors.
- Technical recruiting expertise.
- Customer service orientation.
Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's Degree.
- 3+ years of recruitment experience in a relevant space.
The role operates Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The team currently consists of two Human Resources personnel, and this position will be the third addition. The first 4-6 weeks require full-time in-office presence, after which a hybrid schedule of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote will be granted. Currently, this is a contract position for 6-9 months, with potential for permanent placement long-term.

This is a Contract position based out of Saugerties, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $38.46/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
