Program Description

Our program provides students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at a unique institution. Through dynamic, project-based work assignments and professional development activities, students get:

Interns work in one specific business area or function for ten weeks and have access to opportunities for collaboration with other students and employees from around the Bank. At the end of the program, students leave with strong skills, professional connections, and meaningful experiences that will support them in their long-term careers.

You’ll Make an Impact as a P&E Intern (Junior)

The People & Engagement (P&E) program offers summer interns a unique opportunity to participate in specialized projects and receive on-the-job training and experience across one or more P&E functions, including Learning and Development, HR Operations/HR Technology, Employee Relations, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Acquisition, Compensation/Benefits, Internal Communications, and People Experience.

Contribute to innovative initiatives by performing in-depth research and meticulously organizing information, driving forward our organization’s strategic goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Assist People & Engagement with the implementation of people programs, procedures, plans and guidelines.

The Unique Skill Sets We’re Looking For
  • Current Undergraduate Junior student demonstrating a profound interest in Human Resources, coupled with a robust academic record and a passion for public service, seeking to leverage their educational background and enthusiasm to contribute meaningfully to our team.
  • Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A sense of urgency and an ability to execute quickly and efficiently.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Acrobat.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
