Duties- Supervise high-level work assignments, plan and schedule the work of subordinate supervisors, establish and modify employee position descriptions, make selections for employment and promotion, establish employee performance standards, evaluates and awards employee performance, take action to correct employee misconduct or unacceptable performance up to and including removal, and grant employee leave requests.
- Manage, oversee, and facilitate the GSA Staffing Line of Business and related work functions focused on improving hiring outcomes and strategies within GSA, including development, promotion, testing, and scaling processes and technology in support of assessment strategies.
- Oversee the work of the Chief, Personnel Processing and Records Management (PPRM) Branch, including high-level personnel processing of all GSA actions, records maintenance, responding to high-level HR operations and related inquiries, processing mass awards, and ensuring accuracy in the processing and implementation of reorganization and realignment actions.
- Oversee the work of the Chief, Oversight and Quality Assurance Branch, including the management and facilitation of HR support functions through centralized personnel services, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, overall quality assurance, and adherence to federal employment laws.
- Oversee a variety of high-level analytical studies and review functions to ensure effectiveness and efficiency through new, revised and innovative HR Information Technology and related initiatives that are of special interest to specific HR workforce activities.
- Oversees and manages the work of the GSA national human capital recruitment and staffing policy programs, including providing program policy and technical guidance on a GSA enterprise-wide level.
- As the Deputy Director of the Talent Acquisition Center, provides expert assistance and authoritative advice on the interpretation of governing policy in designated HR program areas.
