Human Resources Generalist

Position summary:

Apply human resources expertise to provide a wide range of Human Resources (HR) support and advice to the staff. The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the organization by executing the daily functions of the Human Resources department, including recruiting. The successful candidate is responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring top talents across various departments within the organization.

Collaborating closely with hiring directors to identify needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience while meeting hiring goals.

This position requires solid organizational and analytical skills, with a focus on attention to detail and strong background in Compliance and Labor Laws.

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for:

Actively seeking qualified candidates through various channels like job boards, Linked In, professional networks, employee referrals, and outreach to build a diverse talent pool.

Crafting compelling job descriptions that accurately reflect the role requirements and company culture to attract top candidates.

Reviewing resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate’s qualifications and fit for the role.

Scheduling and conducting virtual interviews with hiring directors, including behavioral and technical assessments, to evaluate candidate’s suitability.

Providing detailed feedback to hiring managers on candidate strengths and weaknesses to inform decision-making.

Extending job offers to selected candidates and manage the onboarding process.

Fostering strong relationships with hiring directors to understand their team needs and proactively identify potential talent gaps.

Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market compensation to assist with recruitment strategies.

Monitoring key recruitment metrices such as time-to-hire, source of hire, and fill rate to identify areas of improvement.

Contributing to promoting the company’s employer brand through various channels to attract high-quality candidates.

Conducting or acquiring background checks and employee eligibility verifications.

Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; and review policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Serves as a back up to HR Generalist.

Performing other duties as assigned.
