HRIS Specialist
The New York State Unified Court System is seeking a Principal Management Analyst (Human Resources Systems Manager) in the Office of Court Administration in Albany, NY.
This position is assigned to the Division of Human Resources and oversees the HR Systems Unit, managing the daily functional operations of the Court System’s human resources automated systems. The role ensures data integrity, consistent statewide HR processes, effective end user access and security, and high-quality technical training and support for HR staff and regional offices.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborating closely with internal court system stakeholders and departments to align system functionality with HR business needs.
- Recommending process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Provides oversight of vendor relationships, policies, procedures, and staff development.
- Keeping the technical team’s knowledge base current as it pertains to Unified Court System benefit providers, insurance carriers, various state agency interfaces and all HRIS and operating system platforms up to current industry standards.
- Overseeing Workday’s bi-annual software updates, Court System network software and hardware requirements.
- Travel with this position is required.
One year in the Senior Management Analyst title; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong HR operations experience with large HRIS platforms, knowledge in Peoplesoft, Kronos, Workday is preferred.
