Schedule:

Monday - Friday 9AM to 5PM, must be flexible with schedule, every other Friday either 6 a.m.

-2 p.m. or 10 a.m.

-6 p.m.

• Accurately calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions, including tax with holdings, garnishments, and benefits (401k).
• Maintaining updated employee files, inputting data into HRIS/payroll systems, and managing time-and-attendance records.
• Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements (e.g., W-2s).
• Balancing payroll records, reviewing tax filings, and assisting with audits.
• Resolving pay discrepancies, answering questions regarding paychecks, and handling payroll inquiries.

• Minimum 2+ years of payroll and timekeeping experience (including garnishments, taxes, and year-end payroll activities).
• Experience processing payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Strong knowledge of timekeeping procedures, payroll adjustments, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience with payroll systems such as Pay Choice, Payroll Associates, Oracle, People Soft, or similar HR/payroll platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with Quick Books preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to audit payroll data and identify discrepancies.
• Experience supporting large employee populations and knowledge of union/public sector payroll practices preferred.
• Must be able to work on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range*: $25 - $30 per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
