Special Projects Lead

This is a Special Projects Lead role, which means the mandate changes as the company does. Your first project is the one that matters most right now: running recruiting operations and screening at volume.

On a heavy day you will run 15 to 20 back to back intro calls, 30 minutes each. Between and around those calls you will prep candidates, write submissions, and push people into client pipelines across multiple Jack accounts. You will not do that by brute force. You will do it by getting very good at using Claude Cowork to prep, write, verify and submit, so the human hours go into the conversations and the judgment calls, not the typing.

If you find yourself doing something manually for the third time, the job is to turn it into a workflow.

This is not a coordinator role. Nobody is going to hand you a checklist.

We are not screening on your resume. We do not care whether you have recruited before, sold before, or worked in an office before. The job is teachable and we will teach it. What we cannot teach is this: judgment about people, speed that holds up across a full day, writing that persuades, an instinct to automate anything repetitive, energy for talking to strangers, comfort being measured against a number, self direction in ambiguity, and the straightness to flag the thing that would be easier to let slide.

We genuinely do not care where you went to school or whether you went, how many years of experience you have, whether your last job title sounds related to this one, or whether you have career gaps.

Two hard constraints: you are in NYC and can be in Brooklyn regularly, and you already use AI tools seriously.

$60,000 base plus 10% of every placement fee, uncapped. Placement fees run $20,000 to $40,000, so each placement is worth $2,000 to $4,000 to you. At the target of 5 placements a month, OTE is roughly $180,000 to $240,000. You are not doing 5 placements in month one, so we will agree a ramp arrangement for the first 60 to 90 days while you learn the pipeline and build your workflows.

A take home: we give you a real, repetitive piece of our operation and you build something in Claude Cowork that does it. Three hours, time boxed, and we will set you up with access. Most people applying will not have used Cowork before, which is fine and part of the point.
  
  3. A paid one day work trial in Brooklyn doing the actual job.

The work trial is the real interview. We would rather watch you work for a day than guess from a conversation, and if you are great at this and have never done it before, that is the format that will show it.
