We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Legal Talent Acquisition team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys managing multiple priorities while providing outstanding service to internal stakeholders and candidates alike.
The Legal Talent Acquisition Coordinator is the connective tissue that keeps recruiting on track. This individual is someone stakeholders can rely on to follow through, keep timelines moving, and ensure no details are overlooked. In this role, you will support attorney recruiting efforts by coordinating recruiting activities, interview logistics, candidate communications, reporting, and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate recruiting activities, processes, and operations from intake through completion, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for routine recruiting matters, resolving day-to-day issues and escalating more complex situations as needed.
- Create and maintain candidate pipeline reports for lateral recruiting efforts.
- Coordinate attorney onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork and related documentation.
- Manage interview scheduling and communication between candidates and attorneys.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline pipeline review and interview scheduling processes.
- Maintain recruiting documentation, interview feedback, and reporting.
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate, streamline, or eliminate manual processes, including leveraging AI and automation tools.
- Adapt and grow as recruiting technologies and processes evolve, focusing not only on completing work but improving how the work gets done.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
- 2-4 years of recruiting, human resources, talent acquisition, or related professional experience.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication, client service, and relationship-building abilities.
- Sound judgment and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking systems, and recruiting technologies.
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in New York City. This range may differ based on your geographic location and cost of living considerations. At Kirkland & Ellis, we consider compensation more than just a base salary. Compensation Range:
New York City: $67,000 - $92,000
