We are seeking a Strategic Talent Advisor for a 12-month contract position based in New York City. In this role, you will serve as a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, developing proactive pipelines of highly qualified technology professionals and delivering market intelligence that supports current and long-term hiring strategies. The ideal candidate brings advanced sourcing expertise, a data-driven approach, and a proven ability to engage hard-to-find passive talent in competitive markets.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for critical and emerging technology roles.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of active and passive candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Conduct talent mapping and competitive intelligence research to identify target companies, relevant talent pools, and emerging technical skills.
- Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders to understand workforce plans and align sourcing efforts with business priorities.
- Use advanced search techniques, Linked In Recruiter, talent intelligence platforms, professional networks, referrals, and industry events to identify high-demand talent.
- Lead initial candidate outreach, engagement, and qualification conversations to assess technical experience, career goals, and overall alignment.
- Provide actionable insights on talent availability, compensation trends, competitor hiring activity, and evolving technology skills.
- Partner with Diversity Strategy teams to build inclusive pipelines and expand access to underrepresented technology talent.
- Track and report sourcing activity, candidate engagement, pipeline health, and other relevant performance metrics.
- Evaluate and recommend new sourcing tools, technologies, and practices to improve talent identification and engagement.
- Required
- Bachelor's degree
- At least eight years of technology sourcing and recruiting experience
- Strong experience recruiting across Cloud Engineering, Software Development, Data and Analytics, Cybersecurity, AI/ML, Dev Ops, and Architecture
- Proven success identifying and engaging passive candidates for specialized and highly competitive technology roles
- Expertise in talent mapping, competitive intelligence, market research, and advanced sourcing methodologies
- Advanced proficiency with Linked In Recruiter, talent intelligence platforms, applicant tracking systems, and sourcing analytics
- Strong understanding of technical skill sets, organizational structures, and talent trends across the technology industry
- Ability to influence hiring leaders through credible, data-driven market insights
- Exceptional networking, candidate engagement, communication, and relationship-building skills
