Temp-to-Perm HR Consultant

Our client, a growing nonprofit organization, is seeking a Temp-to-Perm HR Consultant to join its team in the South Bronx, NY. This position will serve as the organization's primary HR resource, supporting benefits administration, recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and policy development during an exciting period of growth. The role will also play a key part in HRIS selection and implementation, and workforce processes across a mixed population of full-time and part-time employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, required.
• 5+ years of progressive human resources experience, required.
• Experience in a small nonprofit or education environment, required.
• Experience with benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee benefit programs, required.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting, background checks, and onboarding compliance, required.
• Experience supporting employee relations investigations, performance management processes, and policy administration, required.
• Experience leading HRIS selection, implementation, or optimization initiatives, preferred.

The hourly rate for this role is $40-$48/hr compensation is commensurate with experience.
