Role: People Associate

Location: New York, NY (Hudson Yards)

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday in-office, remote Fridays

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 base salary plus discretionary bonus and benefits

Our client is a growing Financial Services firm in New York. The business offers a dynamic environment where employees have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working closely with senior leadership.

They are seeking a People Associate to support People Operations and employee lifecycle initiatives across the organization. This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure across all areas of HR while contributing to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

The role reports directly to the Chief People Officer and offers significant visibility across the business while supporting key initiatives related to employee experience, compensation, benefits, onboarding, reporting, and organizational growth.

• Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee experience, and People Operations initiatives
• Managing employee benefits administration and coordination with external vendors
• Supporting compensation administration and annual people processes
• Assisting with 401(k) administration and employee programs
• Coordinating offer letters, background checks, and pre-employment processes
• Supporting payroll administration, employee records, compliance, and HR systems
• Partnering with employees and managers on people-related matters and employee lifecycle support
• Assisting with workforce planning, headcount reporting, turnover reporting, and people analytics
• Supporting performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives
• Coordinating immigration and visa processes with external partners
• Contributing to process improvement projects that support organizational growth and scalability
• Providing direct support to People leadership and broader business stakeholders

• 4-6 years of experience within Human Resources, People Operations, HRBP, or related functions
• Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes, benefits administration, compensation, payroll, and HR operations
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with reporting and analytics
• Experience with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, PEOs, or related HR technology
• Exposure to workforce planning, employee data, reporting, or organizational analytics preferred
• Financial services, investment management, private equity, family office, or high-growth company experience preferred
• Highly organized professional with exceptional attention to detail
• Resourceful self-starter who can operate independently and manage competing priorities
• Strong communicator with excellent judgment and follow-through
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organization
