Optomi, in partnership with a leading regional financial institution, is seeking a Senior Administrative Analyst to support and enhance a next-generation consumer loan origination platform
. This role plays a key part in stabilizing and advancing a large-scale technology implementation that directly impacts the bank’s consumer lending operations.
This is a 100% remote, long-term contract (1 year) opportunity offering the flexibility to collaborate with team members across FL, MI, TX, and AL. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of technical troubleshooting, business process understanding, and experience in loan origination systems.
Experience of the Right CandidateThe right candidate will have a deep understanding of consumer loan origination platforms such as Newgen, Finastra Decision Pro, or Laser Pro. They will have experience supporting or implementing banking technology solutions, ideally within consumer lending.
They should be comfortable working in project-driven environments, collaborating across remote teams, and communicating effectively with both IT and business stakeholders. A balance of technical acumen and business insight is key, as is familiarity with tools like Azure and SQL.
A background in the banking industry is strongly preferred, with an understanding of lending workflows and credit processes. The right individual will thrive in a collaborative, steady‑paced culture that values communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork.
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate- Support and enhance the Newgen Loan Origination System and related consumer lending applications.
- Partner with project teams to manage bugs, configuration issues, and production stability
. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders across consumer lending, project management, and IT to align system performance with business needs.
- Participate in ongoing project phases and support future development and rollout efforts.
- Troubleshoot production issues and propose sustainable fixes or process improvements.
- Maintain consistent communication with remote team members and leadership
. - Contribute to a stable and efficient lending technology environment through proactive issue management and solution design.
