Capital Markets Solutions Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and high-performing Solutions Leader with deep domain knowledge of capital markets to lead business development and solution consulting for leading investment banks, asset managers, broker-dealers, custodians, and market infrastructure firms. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in selling technology and transformation services and excels in strategic deal shaping, executive engagement, and driving measurable outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Solutions & Deal Strategy

• Partner with consulting, delivery, and product teams to craft customized solutions that address client challenges in trading, post-trade, compliance, ESG, market data, and digital assets.
• Lead/Respond to RFPs/RFIs and develop winning proposals and solution narratives
• Support complex RFPs, drive solution design workshops, and build compelling business cases.
• Able to build and manage a robust sales pipeline across capital markets clients across front, middle, and back-office domains.
• Build, manage, and convert a robust pipeline of strategic opportunities (IT services, platform modernization, data/AI, risk, regulatory, cloud, and operations).
• Ongoing Thought Leadership. Establish thought leadership footprint through ongoing communications, and ideation and solution presentations.
• Client Engagement & Partnerships

Build executive-level relationships with C-level stakeholders (CIOs, Heads of Trading, Risk, Operations) to understand strategic priorities.

Representing the company at industry events and contribute to thought leadership in Cap Markets

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with delivery, product, and innovation teams to ensure smooth handover and successful implementation of solutions.

Act as voice-of-the-customer to influence product roadmaps and enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of experience in capital markets, including 5+ years in solutioning, sales or consulting roles.
• Demonstrated success in selling IT and digital transformation services to capital markets clients.
• Deep understanding of capital markets segments such as:

Investment Banking

Asset and Wealth Management

Market Infrastructure / Exchanges

• Strong knowledge of trends in capital markets: market modernization, digital assets/tokenization, T+1, ESG, regulatory compliance, cloud, data platforms, AI/ML in trading, etc.
• Strong relationships with buy-side/sell-side firms, exchanges, and regulators in the U.S.
• Excellent communication, executive presence, and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Technology (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

Preferred Experience:

• Background with capital markets platforms (e.g., Calypso, Murex, Fidessa, Bloomberg, Charles River).
