Driving AI‑Native Venture Building Across Our Portfolio

Mudita Studios is an AI‑first venture studio that builds, acquires, and scales B2B SaaS companies. We are looking for a CTO to architect, ship, and scale the next generation of AI‑enabled products across our portfolio. This role owns technical strategy, system architecture, delivery cadence, and engineering quality across multiple ventures simultaneously.

• Product architecture, core platform decisions, and AI integration strategy (agents, RAG, workflow automation, connectors).
• Road mapping and prioritization with each venture CEO (wedge, sequencing, MVP scoping, versioning).
• Engineering execution: sprint structure, velocity management, code quality, and release discipline.
• Technical diligence for acquisitions (fractional CFO firms, ops consultancies) and post‑acquisition modernization.
• Enterprise‑grade implementation patterns for Fortune 500 clients—connecting our portfolio tools into real workflows.
• Stand up a high‑leverage engineering organization (internal team + nearshore/offshore pods + contractors).
• Security, compliance, and data architecture for AI systems (SOC2 workflows, PII handling, provenance, observability).

• 10+ years building and shipping software products; experience as CTO, Head of Engineering, or Principal Architect.
• Strong command of modern AI tooling:
  OpenAI agents, LLM apps, vector stores, RAG, Lang Chain/Llama Index, n8n/Zapier orchestration.
• Proven ability to build from zero while maintaining enterprise‑grade reliability, documentation, and security.
• Experience managing multi‑product engineering portfolios or consulting teams delivering across different clients.
• Comfortable switching between hands‑on execution and high‑level architecture in the same week.
• Bonus: experience in FP&A, workflow automation, consulting tech, or vertical SaaS.

• Operates with urgency and discipline; ships MVPs in weeks, not quarters.
• Loves building systems, templates, and repeatable engineering playbooks.
• Treats AI as a force multiplier—knows how to turn 5 engineers into 25 via tooling and automation.
• Communicates crisply with non‑technical founders and can translate business strategy into engineering priorities.
