Overview
We partner with regulated organizations seeking a senior leader to oversee AI governance, model risk management, and compliance-driven analytics initiatives. This role focuses on establishing governance frameworks, managing regulatory risk related to AI and advanced models, and ensuring responsible use of data and analytics in highly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead AI governance and model risk management programs aligned with regulatory and compliance expectations
- Establish governance frameworks for the development, deployment, and monitoring of AI and analytics models
- Oversee model risk assessments, validation processes, and ongoing performance monitoring
- Partner with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Data, and Technology teams on AI-related initiatives
- Support regulatory exams, audits, and inquiries related to AI, model risk, and analytics governance
- Develop policies, standards, and controls governing AI use and model lifecycle management
- Monitor emerging regulations, guidance, and industry standards related to AI governance
- Advise senior leadership on AI risk, governance trends, and regulatory exposure
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Data Science, Risk Management, Law, or a related field preferred
- 10–15+ years of experience in model risk management, AI governance, analytics oversight, or related compliance roles
- Strong understanding of regulatory expectations related to model risk, AI, and advanced analytics
- Experience supporting regulated organizations in financial services, insurance, fintech, or similar industries
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional governance initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong communication, leadership, and strategic advisory skills
$200,000–$285,000 base salary, depending on experience and market
