System Engineer

This role sits within the Infrastructure team and is responsible for building, operating, and improving enterprise systems across global Windows and Citrix environments. The focus is on reliability, security, and performance of core infrastructure platforms. This is a hands-on, well-rounded position that blends day-to-day operational ownership with engineering work. You’ll collaborate closely with multiple technology and business teams to support critical systems and drive key initiatives, while communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ensure infrastructure platforms remain secure, stable, and current through proactive maintenance and patching
• Execute project work across the full lifecycle of system and application implementations, adhering to established standards and architectural best practices
• Support critical back-office applications, including trading, fund accounting, and financial systems
• Design, configure, and support Windows and Citrix environments, covering both internal and client-facing solutions
• Own and continuously improve technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and usability
• Act as an escalation point for complex issues, partnering with the help desk to drive resolution
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity, producing metrics and reports as needed
• Contribute to capacity planning and performance optimization to meet evolving business demands
• Assist with daily administration and management of server and infrastructure environments

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7–18 years of experience supporting enterprise Microsoft environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Autopilot, and Power Shell
• Experience working in hybrid on-prem and cloud environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a production environment
