iPullRank seeks a Search Engine Optimization Engineer to enhance Organic Search visibility for our clients. This US-based role (hybrid or remote) focuses on site auditing, technical analysis, competitive analysis, content engineering, and generative AI implementation.

The ideal SEO Engineer is an expert in Google algorithms, skilled in tinkering and building custom solutions for complex technical SEO challenges. This client-facing position involves working directly with client teams to deliver best-in-class, results-driven SEO. Responsibilities include leading technical SEO efforts for multiple clients and collaborating extensively with Mike King on SEO research to develop and share new strategies with the SEO community.

Salary range: $100,000-$120,000.

• Proactively identify on-page SEO opportunities.
• Perform comprehensive Site Audits.
• Execute in-depth log file analysis.
• Improve conversion rates for Organic Search traffic.
• Own performance monitoring reports and KPIs.
• Perform competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities.
• Develop user stories to guide the technical implementation of recommendations.
• Present deliverables and results effectively to clients.
• Contribute to iPullRank inbound marketing efforts and thought leadership.
• Perform Natural Language Processing (NLP) operations to identify content optimization opportunities.
• Code proofs of concept for client solutions.
• Build automated analysis tools, spreadsheets, and slide decks using programmatic methods.

• Minimum 5 years of search engine optimization experience.
• Highly proficient in productivity applications (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
• Strong analytical mindset, skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptionally clear oral and written communication skills.
• High level of initiative and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Possess thorough, up-to-date knowledge of search engine ranking factors and current SEO practices.
• Previous client-facing experience.
• Proficiency with HTML and CSS required.
• Proficiency with Analytics packages and Google Search Console.
• Backend programming language such as Python or PHP required.
• Relational Database skills such as MySQL or Big Query required.
• Proficiency with APIs and Google's Apps Script.
• Expertise with industry-standard SEO software.

• Experience working in an agency environment.

• Experience building web applications with a modern JavaScript framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
