DescriptionThe Manager, Content Distribution & Partnerships will assist in the negotiation, execution, and management of content distribution agreements across digital and traditional media platforms e.g., linear (MVPD/vMVPD), FAST, AVOD and SVOD. This role supports monetization strategies and partner engagement for a leading media company. The Manager will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful implementation of distribution initiatives.
The salary range for this job is between $70,100-$93,400. Salary rate will take into consideration several factors including location.
Key Responsibilities- Support negotiations for content distribution agreements with MVPDs, vMVPDs, FAST/AVOD platforms, SVOD channels, DTC platforms, social media and new business opportunities.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of strategic partner relationships, and compliance with agreements.
- Assist in identifying new content distribution opportunities and emerging platforms.
- Collaborate with Strategy, Legal, Finance, Programming, Product and Marketing teams to facilitate deal execution.
- Prepare reports and analyses on content performance, marketing/promotional tactics, partner metrics, and revenue outcomes.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to provide insights for distribution strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Media, Communications, or related field (mandatory).
- 4+ years of experience in media content distribution, business development, or partnerships—preferably within television, streaming, or digital media.
- Familiarity with content monetization models and distribution
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented person with a drive to succeed.
- Exposure to platforms such as Roku, Amazon Channels, You Tube, or FAST services.
- Exposure to traditional and vMVPD distribution agreements
