Job Description:Role Overview
We are seeking a highly hands-on Full Stack Engineer with deep AWS cloud, security, and data governance experience to support enterprise-scale web applications and internal data platforms.
The role is 60% backend / 40% frontend, with strong emphasis on secure cloud infrastructure, analytics, and emerging AI capabilities.
This position is ideal for engineers who have worked on data-heavy, governance-driven platforms and can operate comfortably across application development, cloud security, and AWS-native services.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop cloud-native, event-driven and REST/Graph
QL APIs on AWS using Python.
Build backend services using AWS Lambda, ECS, or EKS, following security and reliability best practices.
Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular (current) and React (new development).
Integrate data across S3, Aurora, Neptune, and AWS Glue Data Catalog.
Implement messaging workflows using SQS and SNS.
Design and enforce secure access controls using IAM and AWS Lake Formation.
Contribute to Terraform-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
Build and support internal data portals, analytics platforms, or catalog-style applications.
Collaborate with product, architecture, security, and data engineering teams.
Demonstrate strong engineering discipline, documentation, and communication skills.
Must-Have Qualifications
Strong AWS-focused full stack engineering experience in enterprise production environments.
Proven hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, risk management, security, and data governance on AWS.
Deep expertise in AWS IAM, including role design, least-privilege access, cross-account access, and policy management.
Hands-on experience implementing data security and governance using AWS Lake Formation, including fine-grained permissions.
Strong understanding of secure data access patterns across S3, Aurora, Neptune, and Glue-managed datasets.
Experience working with data governance frameworks, metadata-driven access models, or regulated data environments.
Backend development experience using Python with Lambda, ECS, or EKS.
Frontend development using Angular and/or React with Type Script.
Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code in governed cloud environments.
Experience building or contributing to internal data platforms, data portals, or data catalog applications.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Experience with Amazon Quick Sight (dashboards, datasets, permissions).
Exposure to Amazon Bedrock and agentic AI concepts.
Experience with Data Zone or metadata-driven platforms.
Strong Dev Ops or platform engineering background.
Experience working in large, complex enterprise ecosystems.
