Share Local Media, or SLM, is a rapidly growing startup reimagining the world of offline marketing for tech and e-commerce companies. We started as e-commerce marketers ourselves, and launched SLM with a goal of transforming offline marketing channels, starting with direct mail and now OOH, by turning them into high performing, scalable channels for a digitally native client set. To do so, we’ve taken an inputs based-approach to the space, and re-engineered the channel from the ground up to make it easier to test, faster to execute, more measurable, and ultimately, more effective for e-commerce and tech clients of all types.

We’re a full-service direct mail & OOH agency, media program operator, and technology platform, serving some of your favorite e-commerce and tech brands (think Casper, Away, Grubhub, etc.). The RoleWe’re looking for a Partnerships Manager to join Share Local Media. This role will be responsible for working directly with Mar Tech & other agency partners to develop a shared vision for success, driving growth for both SLM and our partners. The role will focus both on working with our integration partners for our DM platform, Poplar, owning relationships with complementary agencies (digital and otherwise) and referral partners across the full SLM business.
This role will define and own initiatives that further grow these partnerships through joint marketing efforts, paid client strategy, as well as seeking out new partnerships.
Basic responsibilities will include:
- Seek out, evaluate, and foster new relationships with Mar Tech & agency partner leads. Scale and manage existing partner relationships and ensuring partner satisfaction & engagement.
- Own and scale our partnership referral program with both agencies & individuals.
- Work to evangelize Poplar into partner orgs, coordinating go live initiatives including: client pilots, case studies, blog posts, comarketing materials, lunch and learn events.
- Develop feedback loops with partners to make sure our offering is meeting their needs and find ways we can improve our product, content and shared client experience.
- Work with partners to identify shared clients/prospects to share with accounts teams to collaborate on comarketing initiatives.
- Manage, track & payout partner bounties.
- Collaborate with our technical accounts team to ensure partner documentation & resources are always up to date and useful.
- 4-6 years in partnerships, marketing and/or technology role.
- E-commerce, Mar Tech industry knowledge or experience
- Great communication, sales, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable presenting in small and large group settings.
- Technically competent to understand partner integration potentials.
- Base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $128,000 and is based upon experience and other factors.
