Key Responsibilities:
- Provision, configure, and manage databases across Amazon RDS (MySQL/Postgre
SQL), Amazon Redshift, Redis, and Progress Open Edge. - Monitor system performance and proactively optimize queries, indexes, and configurations to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
- Design and implement scalable database architectures that support mission-critical applications and services.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and analytics teams to support data workflows, integrations, and automation.
- Ensure database security, backup integrity, and disaster recovery readiness across all environments.
- Contribute to infrastructure planning, capacity forecasting, and performance benchmarking.
Qualifications:
- AWS certifications such as Database – Specialty, Solutions Architect, or equivalent cloud credentials.
- Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
- Familiarity with containerized deployment environments including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of data governance practices, security standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
