The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in user research techniques, have the ability to simplify complex business processes and a solid technical background to collaborate effectively with developers. The role involves significant training and support to develop needed understanding of the domain and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discover and identify processes for big data and create a designs using acquired information.
- User Discovery and Simplified Solutions: conduct user discovery, understand user requirements and develop simplified solutions. Conduct end to end discovery through architecture not just "create UI".
- Understand complex situations, identifying opportunities for improvement. Work with international and local multifunctional teams to build solutions they will be proud of.
- Create successful products, developing strategies, working with and managing design teams.
- Articulate solutions team members, incorporate feedback and work with developers for implementation.
- Conduct user research to understand complex business domains and user requirements.
- Utilize various user discovery techniques to identify user needs and information usage.
- Design simplified solutions and approaches to address user problems.
- Collaborate with product owners, users, and developers to articulate and implement design solutions.
- Ensure designs are technically feasible and can be implemented efficiently.
- Work on applications involving large data sets and complex interactions.
- Participate in ongoing discussions with front-end and back-end teams to ensure design integrity.
- Incorporate feedback form various sources to quickly revise and deliver updated product designs.
- As member of the AGILE team, adhere to the Sprint lifecycle
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with a range of industries and clients, innately understanding and championing user needs, developing narratives to share understanding, and advocating for better ways of working to enhance the experience of both colleagues and users. UX design strategy for complex applications.
- Big Data:
Experience designing complex applications, handling and displaying large amounts of data efficiently, including techniques like lazy loading and sampling theory. - User Discovery:
Proficiency in user discovery techniques to identify user needs and information usage. - Familiarity with AGILE / Kanban / SCRUM. Projects across regions in various development stages, ability to understand different timelines to adhere to and deliver accordingly.
- User-centered experience design (need to show case through portfolio)
- Demonstration of work, including discovery phase. Grasp of discovery and design approach based on requirements and user-needs. Ability to run discovery process and define simplified solutions
- Qualitative and quantitative research work
- Team-led analysis and ideation. Iterative prototyping and agile testing
Academic qualifications/Level of Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $ 94,000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $ 193,600 per year
