Position: Strategic Growth Business Development Lead (Enterprise AI / Platform Partnerships)

Overview

We are looking for a Strategic Growth Business Development Leader to drive enterprise expansion and position our AI platform as a core digital infrastructure partner for global beauty, fashion, and wellness brands and retailers.

This exciting sales role is an unique opportunity to lead innovation and ignite change the eCommerce and Retail landscape with next-gen AI and AR. The position is not a traditional sales role focused on pipeline volume or transactional deals. This role is responsible for architecting revenue growth across large enterprise accounts by designing multi-brand, multi-market, and innovation-driven partnerships.

You will work at the intersection of AI, digital transformation, and enterprise platform strategy.

Mission

Transform enterprise relationships from tool adoption to platform partnerships by:

  • Expanding single-brand deployments into portfolio-level agreements
  • Engaging executive stakeholders (CDO, CTO, Digital, Innovation leaders)
What You Will Do Architect Account Growth Strategies
  • Design expansion plans that increase account value 2–3× over time
  • Build commercial frameworks for cross-brand and cross-market adoption
  • Identify and unlock portfolio-level opportunities within enterprise customers
Drive Executive-Level Engagement
  • Build relationships with digital transformation, innovation, and executive stakeholders
  • Position our AI platform as a strategic capability, not a feature vendor
  • Lead strategic discussions on personalization, automation, and AI enablement
Structure Complex Enterprise Deals
  • Develop multi-year, bundled, and portfolio-based agreements
  • Align innovation pilots with long-term expansion strategies
  • Design pricing models that support scalable adoption
  • Translate AI capabilities into business value narratives
  • Identify use cases where innovation unlocks new revenue streams for clients
  • Turn emerging technologies into enterprise adoption pathways
Elevate Internal BD Capabilities
  • Partner with account managers and BD operators to build growth roadmaps
  • Shift account discussions from “maintenance” to “expansion design”
Success in This Role Looks Like
  • Increased ACV across key enterprise accounts
  • Portfolio-level or multi-brand deals closed
  • Multi-market expansions within global clients
  • Platform positioning within enterprise accounts
What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

  • 8+ years in enterprise SaaS, platform, or technology business development
  • Experience selling to enterprise digital, innovation, or technology leaders
  • Track record of expanding accounts, not just acquiring logos
  • Hands on contributor, willing to actively create materials as needed for success in the role

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience in AI SaaS, digital platforms, or data-driven solutions
  • Experience in industries such as beauty, retail, consumer brands, or lifestyle sectors
  • Background in consultative or solution-based selling
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field preferred
  • Strategic thinker who sees how to build successful enterprise systems, not single deals
  • Strong commercial acumen and deal structuring ability
  • Executive presence and communication skills
  • Self-starter, excited by a fast-changing business environment
  • Flexible team-player, quick to adapt and mobilize to align with business goals of the organization
  • Able to translate innovation, business insights, and industry trends into business outcomes
This Role Is NOT a Fit If You Are
  • Focused mainly on volume-based sales or transactional deals
  • Primarily a relationship manager without growth design experience
  • Most comfortable working only with mid-level stakeholders
